What a wonderful day in the neighborhood

We tell everybody that we live in the New York, but have difficulty describing our surroundings. I thought these snapshots from this afternoon might be helpful. Fall has finally reached New York and the trees are beggining to shake off their colored canopies.

A narrow street, lined with trees and private homes. On the right-hand side is Seton Park.

Gutters and streets are collecting drifts of leaves.

We live quite close to the Hudson River. This view through the trees catches a glimps of the river below. Though we live in New York City, we still are surrounded by dense wooded areas and beautiful scenary.
