Frankfurt's forecast: Six more months of sunshine

It's windy today in Frankfurt. How do I know? I live here. Last time I wrote I was in New York, but that was over two years ago. So much has happened and so much has changed. I am very different today than I was the last time I wrote. And I'm so glad.

I have two children now. David is two years and Sebastian is two months. They are wonderful. Jon and I are happy. And so blessed.

The babies and I are at the park right now. David's in the sand box, happy to see the sand again now that the snow is gone, and Sebastian is sleeping, snuggled to my chest in a baby carrier.

It's almost like fall with leaves covering Gruneburg park, swirling or leaping in the air. All to the wind's tune. But two days ago the grass and the leaves were covered by thick white snow. And it will probably be back. Even with it gone, it's quite cold and after a bitter wind blasted our faces moments ago, David said that he, "found winter." :)

Now David is marching around a "mountain" making music with two sticks and just happily remarked "pretty wolf" as a dog walked by. David lives in a beautiful world.

Welcome blog, to a very happy chapter of our lives. I'm looking forward to recording it.

  3. I saw your blog on facebook and was curious to see how you guys are doing. How fun that you're in Germany. We're not too far away in Poland. I hope you keep writing because I think it's always fun to see how everyone from High school is doing, and it's especially fun when that person is sharing experiences similar to mine that I can relate too.
Hope you guys are loving it.
